Kirsite Alley - new Lane Bryant spokesperson?

I just came across this article (a pretty size-negative one) that says Lane Bryant has approached Kirstie Alley to be their new spokesperson, and that shes considering the offer.

Its just my opinion, but I think its a mistake. Everything Ive heard about her show tells me that its NOT going to be especially positive. The title is awful ("F-- Actress" - gee, wonder what the shows attitude is going to be?) And like most celebs, Kirstie will probably just end up selling out to some diet company in the end.

I wish Lane Bryant would put the money into producing a fashion show next year instead. Or daytime tV segments. Or more great campaigns like the new lingerie promo. I relate more to Valerie or Barbara or Crystal than I do to some actress looking for a career boost.
