I don't usually care about awards shows, but this is an exception.
The timing couldn't be better. So many TV shows now try to present plus size actresses in negative ways, but Christina represents everything young full-figured performers (or curvy girls in general) can be: smart, sexy, confident, and talented.
Just as her character Terri changed poeple's thinking about size and appearance on her show, so could Christina dispel old Hollywood myths, and bring about a new understanding of true beauty to the acting world. I'll be rooting for her.
