Wouldn't you think that, if you were a plus-size retailer, and wanted to stand out from your competition, you would do the exact opposite of what August Max did? "If our competitors are using size-12/14 models, we'll use size 18/20 models! If our competitors are using pretty plus-size models, we'll use GORGEOUS plus-size models!" Oh wait, isn't that more or less what Torrid did? And guess what - they seem to be doing a lot better than August Max........ |
