When i first heard about Emme doll, i was very impressed, it is a breakthrough indeed, yet in Britain the doll got reviewed in the press and some journalists thought little girls would not want a frumpy doll, good grief there is no way Emme doll could be described as frumpy, i do think it is an excellent role model just like Emme is herself in real life, funnily enough over here i used to have a doll called Sindy and her figure was a bit more realistic than Barbies, recently in a programme about toys they got Suzannah and Trinny to do makeovers for both dolls, now teen dollls were a passion of mine for many years, my mum used to spend hours either sewing or knitting stuff for my sindy dolls, happy memories indeed!
