New York is too cold in February to do anything outdoors, of course, but I remember one couture designer staging his spring runway show (they take place in January, I beleive) in an enormous greenhouse, at some big chateau in the outskirts of Paris. It was a lovely idea (even if the models were NOT). Mind you, I know LB's shows were always big press events with larger crowds than the Paris couture shows, but still, this would give the production some romance that would make it really memorable - and without any expensive and untrustworthy "celebrities".
