An image as spectacular as the one in the pink dress reminds us that no matter how nice it is to see great settings, etc., nothing is a more persuasive argument in favour of the plus aesthetic than a model whose beauty surpasses belief. And Barbara's beauty is second to none - and therefore, very persuasive indeed!
It brings back memories of the very best of Mode, but it also shows how much more curve-friendly fashion has recently become. I can only imagine what kind of breathtaking editorials Mode would be creating today, to showcase the new feminine styles.
That may be my favorite photograph of Barbara - ever.
