“No Second Troy”

The Judgment of Paris Survey Results

“Paris was a bold man who presum’d / To judge the beauty of a Goddess.”
-John Dryden

As of summer 2013, gorgeous plus-size model Katherine Roll, a sumptuous size 18, has slipped into the lead in the Judgement of Paris voting survey. Miss Roll is popular for her expressive posing technique, her luscious arms, her acclaimed photo shoots (which she often styles herself) situated in attractive outdoor locations, and especially for her magnificent 45-38-49 proportions, which, on her 5'8 height, give her a wonderfully full-figured silhouette.

Fair-featured stunner Sophie Sheppard is in a close second. Her 38dd-39-49 measurements endow her with a size-16/18 figure that is only somewhat less opulent than Katherine’s. Miss Sheppard is especially revered for her generous waist and her long, golden, princess-like tresses.

Radiant Kelsey Olson remains in close contention with both Katherine and Sophie. Her angelic features and ability to generate looks of the softest innocence continue to endear her to the public. And although her career has been on hiatus for some years now, Shannon Marie is fourth in line for the crown. Her beauty continues to be the standard against which all plus-size models are judged, and no goddess has yet emerged with facial features lovelier than hers.

But currently, Katherine Roll remains the most popular of all plus-size models. In an industry plagued by far too many faux-plus models, Miss Roll is gorgeous and genuinely full-figured, and embodies the true feminine ideal.

Katherine Roll

Was this the face that launch’d a thousand ships
And burnt the topless towers of Ilium?
Sweet Helen, make me immortal with a kiss.
Her lips suck forth my soul: see where it flies!
Come, Helen, come, give me my soul again.
Here will I dwell, for heaven is in these lips,
And all is dross that is not Helena.
I will be Paris, and for love of thee
Instead of Troy shall Wittenberg be sack’d,
And I will combat with weak Menelaus
And wear thy colours on my plumed crest,
Yea, I will wound Achilles in the heel
And then return to Helen for a kiss.
O, thou art fairer than the evening’s air
Clad in the beauty of a thousand stars,
Brighter art thou than flaming Jupiter
When he appear’d to hapless Semele,
More lovely than the monarch of the sky
In wanton Arethusa’s azur’d arms,
And none but thou shalt be my paramour.

Christopher Marlowe, Doctor Faustus. (1604–16)
