As a long-time Christina Schmidt fan, I am over the moon that she won. The other actors on Degrassi often got more attention because they played flashier characters, but Christina played Terri totally differently. She had a very subtle, low-key approach that always suggested there was a lot going on just under the surface of the character. Just a look here, or a meaningful glance there. But then, when Terri was in a crisis or intense conflict, Christina would let some of that inner passion show, and moments like that always made you gasp when you saw them. I am glad the YAA has recoginzed her talent.
I wonder what Christina wore for the occasion?
