It is so true that Kelsey's posing talents, already precociously apparent in her initial tests, have become even more developed in this series. The model and photographer have created a range of moods in these images that qualify them are works of art.

And what's more is that many of the emotions presented here are seldom seen in plus-size modelling, where the younger age group has long been under-represented, as have been the emotions that are so specific to that age.

Here, for example, is an enchanting image of Kelsey looking a tad petulant, expressing a kind of careless ennui with the photographic process, and at the same time, displaying tremendous self-possession, and an awareness of her own beauty--a look that is so characteristic of youth.

But here, on the other hand, is a look of doe-eyed vulnerability that cannot fail to involve the viewer emotionally. When was the last time you saw a plus-size model create a mood such as this? This is a truly original image--as are many in this extraordinary series. It is a photograph worthy of a great editorial, because it implies a narrative component. What has troubled this lovely young girl, the viewer wonders. What could possibly distress those lovely features?

And the image below captures the model in a private moment of serenity--and also offers just a hint of that soft, perfect figure that so many viewers have enthused about.

Kelsey is without a doubt one of the most exciting rising stars in the industry. We are all immensely fortunate that her path crossed with Mr. Debas, and produced the unforgettable results that we are seeing here.
