Valerie Lefkowitz has been one of the Wilhelmina agency’s top plus-size models from the time that she was discovered at the age of fifteen, in 1996. As a junior model, she was dubbed one of the “most influential teens in America” by Teen People, and her images graced the pages of magazines such as Seventeen, Jump, Twist, Girl, YM, and MODE.

Valerie appeared on the covers of the Spring and Winter 2004 issues of Figure magazine, as well as throughout the magazine’s Summer and Fall 2004 issues, and has graced the editorial pages of Grace, Glamour, and Real Simple. Her commercial clients at home and abroad have included Fashion Bug, Fruit of the Loom, Dockers, Dress Barn, Target, Emme Bridal, Vassarette, Reitmans (Canada), Goody’s Family Clothing, Junonia, Moonlight Bridal, Nordstrom, David’s Bridal, The Avenue, Wehkamp (Holland), and Kmart brands such as the new Jaclyn Smith Style collection, Joe Boxer, and Basic Edition.
